Pokolm-Voha's DuoPlug® shrinking adapters are designed for economic milling or contouring with Solid Carbide End Mills in deep flutes, pockets or cavities. Using the varying thermal expansion of steel and solid carbide, DuoPlug systems provide unsurpassed flexibility, modularity and precision.
As a supplement to conventional thread connections, the retention and supporting forces between cutting tool and adaptor act along the entire surface of the shrink fit and a large part of the shrink thread for optimum stability. Other features include better tensile strength and heat resistance for exotic materials and extra-hard coating.
The Pokolm-Voha DuoPlug series adapters are available in 3, 4, 6, 8, and 10mm plain shank diameters.
