This newly developed EDM wire (brass-on-brass) has excellent mechanical and physical resistance. Because of its high tensile strength and high electrical conductivity, this wire is suitable for speed and precision cutting, even under poor flushing conditions. For taper cutting (>7°), this wire is suitable only to a limited extent. Type D wire complies with MITSUBISHI EDMs.
